420 Rescue Seat

The Rescue Seat is a compact, lightweight, and simple to use rescue device. Equipped with two folding seats and flotation collar. May be utilized for both maritime and land rescue operations. Patterned after the military Forest Penetrator, the Rescue Seat has been designed for simple operation and ease of maintenance. All problems (corrosion, spares, etc) with the military Forest Penetrator are eliminated. Constructed entirely of stainless steel and corrosion resistant components, the Rescue Seat is virtually maintenance free. Each fold-down seat is equipped with a safety strap, and printed instructions on the flotation collar. NSN 4240-01-465-2302. Approved by US Navy, US Air Force and US Army. The Department of the United States Army has approved the Lifesaving Systems Rescue Seat per the Airworthiness Release (AWR) for Rescue Hoist Equipment on UH/HH-60 Helicopters (AWR 980).
