The rocket flare is designed to withstand exceptional environmental exposure and to perform reliably even after immersion in water, the pull wire igniter and improved grip provides easy handling. This day or night long-range distress signal ejects a red flare on a parachute at 300m (1000ft), burning for 40 seconds at 30,000 candela. This signal is approved by International Maritime Organization for use on ships of all types and in ship's lifeboats and liferafts and is also approved to latest USCG and SOLAS specifications.

To Use: Remove red end cap. Hold firmly, vertically above head at arms length. Turn head away and pull toggle. Rocket is ejected instantaneously with a loud report and slight recoil. Be careful not to direct towards people or property.
