The Winslow Super-Light Dual Safe 8-12 Man Rental is a larger-capacity FAA-approved aviation life raft designed for Part 91 and Part 121 overwater operations where passenger count, aircraft mission flexibility, and compact storage are important.
This aviation raft rental is commonly selected for turbine aircraft, offshore helicopter operations, charter flights, ferry flights, corporate aviation, government operations, medical transport aircraft, and larger private aircraft carrying additional passengers or crew over water.
The Winslow Super-Light Dual Safe series is designed to provide offshore survival capability while reducing overall raft weight and storage footprint compared to heavier traditional raft systems. Vacuum sealed inside a compact valise case, the raft stores efficiently aboard many aircraft while remaining ready for rapid deployment during emergency ditching situations.
Once deployed, the raft provides offshore survival support for up to eight to twelve people while awaiting rescue. This larger-capacity configuration is often selected for commercial-style operations, larger helicopter crews, expanded passenger groups, offshore support missions, and operators looking for additional room and survival flexibility during overwater flights.

The previous PDF, fax, and email reservation process has been replaced with the online rental agreement system. Your rental is not released, shipped, or prepared for pickup until checkout and agreement review are complete.
Rental period runs from the day you receive the raft until the day it is returned to the shipping carrier. Please provide return tracking information once the equipment has shipped back. Late fees equal to the daily rental rate may apply to overdue equipment.
Shipping or Delivery:
SHIPPING. Life raft rentals may require hazardous material handling fees in addition to shipping charges. Rafts can often be shipped directly to an airport, FBO, operator, maintenance facility, or approved delivery location depending on operational timing and availability.
If your trip is less than 7 days away, please contact us before ordering so we can verify inventory availability and shipping timing.
Cancellation: Cancellations should be made prior to shipment and before the rental period begins. Once the raft has shipped or the rental period has started, additional charges may apply.
Rental Items: Life Raft Store works to provide the requested raft configuration whenever possible. Depending on operational availability, an equivalent or upgraded raft configuration may be supplied if necessary.
