The Collins Winslow FASL model Type 1 is a TSO C70a compliant dual-tube life raft designed for the most extreme and demanding aviation survival situations. It offers the most features and largest-diameter buoyancy tubes of any Winslow aviation life raft.
Features include a self-erecting and dual-layered canopy, an inflatable floor and our Winslow UltimaWrap vacuum packaging, which provides a barrier to moisture and atmospheric contamination.
A three-year service cycle is standard with this life raft. This model is best used where robustness is more important than light weight and small pack size. Considered the traditional pack type for corporate aviation life rafts, its yellow fabric is pliable, durable and lighter weight than its hard-packed counterpart.
