Here at Life Raft Store, we are committed to providing our customers with the best life rafts around. However, we understand that life rafts are a significant investment if you are not a regular pilot. That is why we are happy to offer some of our products as rentals!
If you have never rented a life raft before, we understand that might seem a little strange. Here is how the rental service works here at Life Raft Store.
The Process
We offer two types of life rafts for rentals, which are marine and aviation. Marine are life rafts commonly used on boats, while aviation rafts are built on planes. Depending on which raft you are looking to use, click on the type you want in the Rentals tab's drop-down section.
After you have clicked on which type of life raft you will be renting, you can look at our selection of rafts available to rent. We offer Switlik and Winslow rafts, so you will be receiving high-quality rafts no matter which one you choose! Once you have found one that you think might be the one, you will complete the following:
Number of days requested
You can request to keep the raft for up to 31 days.
PLB requested
The PLBs vary between brands, but they will both be paid at a flat rate.
Life jackets requested
You can request up to 8 life jackets.
Pilot vest upgrade
If you want to keep things consistent, you can ask for life jackets either made by Switlik or Winslow.

At the bottom of the webpage, you will also fill out a rental form. This form can be accessed here. When you are done filling out the form, please email the completed copy back to us at [email protected].
Rental Assistance
Our team understands that this might be a little difficult to follow. That is why we are here to answer any question you may have regarding renting a life raft from our store. We also carry different safety equipment for rent, which you can check out here. All items are shipped to your location from our Florida office, located in Melbourne, Florida. We offer a hassle-free experience in rentals and do not charge the freight time between locations. All you pay for is the "Time in Possession" and the shipping cost.
