Need to rent a life raft for the weekend, an upcoming flight, or a temporary aircraft operation? We have daily, weekend, and weekly rates for aviation life raft rentals. These FAA Approved life rafts are used for Part 91, Part 121, and Part 135 operations in both airplanes and helicopters.
Rafts are available from compact rescue raft options rated for 4 persons with overload capacity, up to larger FAA Approved Part 135 raft options for higher passenger counts. If you are unsure which raft is appropriate for your aircraft, route, or passenger count, please call us before ordering.
Rafts are vacuum sealed and packed in a valise case for easier transportation and storage. FAA Approved rafts include survival kits stored in the raft. Call us for help with availability, shipping, timing, and rental requirements.
RENTAL POLICIES

The old PDF, fax, and email-back process has been replaced with the online rental agreement. Your rental is not released, shipped, or prepared for pickup until checkout is complete and the required online rental agreement has been reviewed by our team.
Reservation process: Complete checkout first, then complete the required online rental agreement. Rentals are confirmed after availability and agreement information are verified by our team.
Rental period runs from the day you receive the raft to the day it is received at the return shipper, such as FedEx, UPS, or DHL. Please send us the tracking number for the return. A late fee equal to the daily rate may be charged for late equipment.
Shipping or Delivery:
SHIPPING. Please call for details. Shipping a life raft may be classified as hazardous material and can be subject to a HazMat fee plus shipping charges. Return shipping is the renter's responsibility unless otherwise arranged.
If your trip is less than 7 days away, please call before placing your order so we can confirm rental availability, shipping timing, and delivery options.
Cancellation: Cancellations should be made at least three days before the start of the rental period and before the raft has shipped. Once the raft has shipped or the rental period is underway, additional rental or cancellation charges may apply.
Rental Items: Life Raft Store does our best to provide the rental equipment requested. Final rental equipment may depend on availability at the time of reservation. If a requested capacity is unavailable, we may provide a larger-capacity raft when appropriate.
All rental items are rented with up-to-date service certificates. The equipment we rent is equipment we would trust for real-world aviation and marine survival use.
